Jab We Again Met

Yes, I went for this movie for the 2nd time. It was just on Wednesday, that I had the premier show of the film. And today, on Friday, its a re-run of the movie. For a slightly elevated fare (160, compared to the 130 of wednesday). But it was a nice elevated seat too - the backmost row :)

This was the 'official' movie show. And luckily for me, all liked the show, and I could save my face. I dont remember going for any movie in my life for a second time screening, in a theatre. These days, I seem to be breaking a lot of records. Wonder whats next. A 3rd time show for the same movie ? Who knows !!

Soo is terribly unhappy that they werent informed while going for the movie, the 1st time. Have struck a deal of gombromise. Hope it works out well :)

Friday eve. Time to rock. Tomorrow is a pc shopping. Got to dump the unloyal big dabba and get a TFT monitor in place!

Hey Rat, what is this? U seeing a movie twice.. Well the movie is really good.. i disagree on only one point - the acting.. I thought both kareena and shahid were overacting in lot of places.. but who cares.. nobody expected them to be good actors.. :-)
Kareena was unnecessarily loud in too many places..

Otherwise, the movie is superb.. not the typical bollywood style... at least we get something different...

Now go and watch 'strangers'... a rip off from alfred hitchcock's Strangers on a Train....
Rediff reviews are good..

@VG, yeah a movie twice. That too not a star studded one. The 2nd go was more of a courtesy go-along trip. But a good one, all the same :)
The movie mainly scored on the direction, pace and songs. You are right on this. I'm not too much into English movies, unless I'm forced to watch it (then i get involved, thats a different story).
Right, JWM was released way before Diwali. But the word-of-mouth publicity took a while, to pack the theatres, I guess. Moreover, ppl were all let down by the much hyped 'super hit' Diwali releases! :-P
