Oil Crisis in India
Even while the strike called by the petrol provider majors are on, HP is finding it tough to control their cash inflow (and kerosene outflow). Big queues in front of pumps, lines of cars.. For once, it was nice to see the discipline among the car operators, in that, they did not get into their usual belief, that they are operating a bike :P No infiltrations, no zig-zags, all nice straight line :)
Had to wait for half an hour, but I too got a chance to fill my tank close to full. Even while all this is going on, the pump fellows are very much on their own nature, and do try the distraction-technique to make extra money. But didnt somebody tell them that I'm smarter ?
For the record, there are a few HP petrol pumps in and around Koramangala, Madiwala area.
One is near St Johns's Hospital.
Another near Maharaja Hotel in Koramangala.
I believe there is one near Sagar Apollo hospital (close to Popular Automobiles showroom) as well.
The Govt should (and I think has decided to) act tough on the striking unions. In my humble opinion, these @$$****es have no right to disrupt normal life of citizens.
Happy Weekend !
Oh did I tell you ?
Happy New Year :-)

Fill Shell! :)
Price difference is not much now. No cheating, no drama, quality petrol.
That used to be one of my favourite filling stations, till a 20-rupee gap came in between Shell and the Govt owned "subsidised" petrol.. But true, no cheating, no distraction drama, and good quality fuel !
