Wedding Story - Part VIII

Day8 - Saturday , Sep3



Got up at 7. And wrote all the above stuff in my diary :-)

Lest I forget !



Bro went to metro and fetched the flex.

3 small ones, and a big one - king size !



Vegetables came.

And came the banana leaves as well..

The evening was spent cleaning the leaves.

2+ hours of hard work made sure that no guest will be treated leaf-less

Made ready 750 odd leaves.

There were more. But when the expected turn around was achieved, we

called it quits.

Late in the night was the right time to erupt the flex image.

A small tube of fevicol, and a roll of double-side tape, and a few metres

of cello tape did the trick.

The flex stood in a majestic fashion on the wall..



(have to keep ready some words to answer dad, when the sticker is taken

off - along with it will come half the paint on the wall!)

The kalavara teams came in the eve.

Had to run around, to get 'ammi-kkall' and 'ural and ulakka'

The cooks' job for the day was to prepare pickle and salad..

Which they finished by 1AM

They spent the night at the home..
