Travelogue - Po Pondi : Day3

Day3 Jan28 Saturday.

The main activity for the day (unplanned of course) was to
lubricate the floor n the wall (dint spare the mattress too)
Before you get into any unsuspecing thoughts, let me yeksplain the
incident :-)

If you had carefully read the day2 travelogue, you will find
a passing reference about a hair oil.. which i bought in the
morning. It was on day3, that it caught the attention of our
ever-so-acrobatic maestro Geo!
And an effort from him to get out a drop of oil into his hand
ended up the whole room being painted with oil :D
10 bucks wasted all the same, we were worried whether the hotel
management will charge for a re-paint :-S
(luckily that dint happen)

Started the day off with a photo session
A timer photo.

Straight to Ananda Bhavan..
A repeat of the order - Rocket roast again :)

Today's main destination is Chunnabar resort.
Went straight to that place..
Its in the Cuddalore road..
Ppl who know the word "Tsunami" will know the relevance of Cuddalore.

Chunnabar is known for the boating center..
(At lease v 4 know only about the boating there.. nothing else)
But what we enjoyed most was the swing (tied onto a treee)
and a children's park

It was written in Bold White words on a black Background
"Strictly for Children Below 12 years"

Having finished the adventures at Chunnabar, we went back
to the car park..
Something caught our attention..
Even while we had parked the car there, it had grabbed our eyes..
Some advertisement board was being set up..
And the wind was so strong, that the polymer sheet made a lot of noise..
By the time we wer back, the sheet was ready.
Here it is:


There is a Botanical Garden, on our way back to the town..
Got into the Garden..
Here the interesting part was the "Joy Train"
(Usually, I see such trains named Toy Train; here it is Joy!)
And yes, it was joy n fun..
Had one quick round trip of the park.
And quit the place.

LUnch time..
Got into Madame Shanthe'.
The name is French.. So we knew we are in for trouble..
(We may come out empty pockets)


Had a decent good food.. at a reasonable rate.
(comparison with other Frnch hotels that we got into)
Back to room.
A quick nap..

The next outing at 4..
Destination - Aurobeach.

And this time we got into the REAL Aurobeach.
Remember, on day2, we got into some shi**y place - which v mistook
for Aurobeach.

Had a lot of water fun..
With Geo doing all sort of tricks.
Jumping, swimming, running, DIVING , and what not..

Had a dress change over, but not yet out of the beach..
