Wonderla

Sardi, Khaasi, Zukaam.
(Should be cold, sneezing, cough in some order)
That was my situation on Wednesday.
If a broken knee cant stop you from jumping on
the dance floor, forget about cold.
The conspiracy for a trip to Wonderla<1> on Thursday
took shape - Thursday is a holiday due to Ugadi.
(Anith, my colleague enlightened me with the info
that Ugadi is New Year. N added to it saying its
new year as per the Hindu Lunar Calendar.)
All my life, never got to see that calendar. But
who cares; a holiday is all that matters.

Roped in 5ppl. Sand, Jins, Alex, KK and me. Make
that 6. KK's brother is joining too.
On Thursday morning, msg ed Dennis. He is free. He
is joining too! 7 ppl. For us, 2 is a crowd, 3 is
chaos, 4 is a mob.
Wonder whether Wonderla will be able to handle
all of us

Den and I reached autobahn. Sand is almost ready.
There is Kiron, still sleeping peacefully.
An attempt to take Kiron along with us failed. Den
tried his best (Sand remarked to Den - You should be
a project manner. Smart at getting things done).
He managed to get a sleeping Kiron on his toes, ready
post brushing and bath. But Kiron had other bigger
"plans" in mind.

Started at 9.30. Collected Jins n Alex on the way.
KK n bro joined from BTM.
A couple of halts at ATMs to draw money..
Entry fee is 480<4> and Sand has come with 300 bucks.
Very smart :-)
Alex was the official navigator. He knows the route
well, coz his office in in the 'Global Village' near
RV College of Engineering.

Inside Wonderla at 11AM.
A quick change of dress and a dive into the pool.
The pool (called play pool) is right at the entrance.
So is always crowded.
When the waves started at the wave pool at 1.40, went
there. Had quite a lot of fun in there...
Noted theme park designer Thomas Jefferson<3> has remarked
that "The measure of fun you have at the wave pool is
proportional to the amount of water that gets into your
intestine through unsuspecting inlets"

Assuming this to be true, Sand had maximum fun.
Coz when it was lunch time, he barely ate anything..
Jins wanted a second serving of rice. Proves that he
knows swimming!

Kk had already changed to fresh clothes before lunch.
His bro followed suite, after lunch.
Kk "I have a back pain, and these rides are not suited
for ppl with back pains" - That is English in written.
But it was written clean on his face "These rides are
scary, I'm not takin any chances" :D
That was boon in disguise, coz he could take some pics
of the rest of the gang having fun..

While Sand n Den concentrated on pools, the rest of the
three (Rat, Jins and Alex) proceeded to dry rides.
The agenda was as given below:
1. Rat n Jins woould get onto every fancy scary rides.
Alex would sit down and watch
2. After the ride, Rat n Jins would continue seated.
3. Alex would ask "Is it ok?"
4. Alex would get in, based on a Yes/No from Rat.

During the second run, Alex would sit near me. And I
would start some conversation, for instance, the impact
of globalisation on the market rate of wool in the city
of New York. Alex too would chip in with suggestions for
topic like The impact of dry rides on the mental and
emotional state of human beings.
But still, nobody missed out on an opportunity to let
out that 1000W scream. So much of screaming that by the
end of ride, your vocal cords would be resting on your
tongue.

Going from one ride to the other was outrageously hilarious.
We were found running for life, as if if you miss
that ride, you will be denied net access in office.
(two if's , close together!!!)
Well, the reason for that run, the floor was TOO HOT.
Temperatures were in the mid 30's and the floor is laid
out of interlock concrete. Set your foot on it, and it
will become deep fried in 5 seconds!
Got some relief in the evening, when the floor was
touchable.. Thats when we realised time is running out,
so is the sun.
Alex had an appointment at 8.30.
KK n bro were idling too much that they too wanted to
pack up.

Back to changing rooms, changed to dry clothes.
A suggestion to have a bath was turned down.
Sand said "What were we doing till now?!"
:=S

In good clothes, went to see the musical fountain and
the laser show. It was tooo good !

Then we gathered at the exit.
Somebody who could count till 10 took a headcount.
Back to indica. Mysore Road..
Vroooooooooooooommmm....

Autobahn at 9.
Copied all the photos.
Back home at 10.15
ZZZzzzzzz <5>

Here are the photos

Tail:
1. Wonderla is from the V-Guard group. They have a
similar amusement park in their hometown Kerala, by
the name Veegaland.
2. Its an amazing fact that short-planned trips take
off and many long-term plans (Serbia for instance) still
remain on paper.
3. Do you really think there is a person by that name?
4. Ticket rate - 480 on holidays n weekends. 360 otherwise
5. Expected body pain the next day. But got up with no pain!
6. The trip was on March30, 2k6
7. How to reach Wonderla? From Bangalore City, catch the
Mysore Road. Travel about 30Km on the silk smooth MR.
You'll find big signboards on the way, near Bidadi.

Gathering courage from ...

Gathering courage from the inner self, I approached
the dungeon. Vocal has a beauty of its own, when not
accompanied by music. The landlord scolded the maid
for not switching off the motor, leading to a water
overflow. "Is this the right time to ask the question to
her", Raj wondered. The revolutionary movement in the
suburbs of the northern province helped eliminate the
communal disintegration to a great extent. But then, looks
are often deceptive. The Tom cat sat legs stretched out
wanting to get the sleep it lost the other day, being chased
by stray dogs. The soaring temperature had no effect on
the plate tectonic motion in the Atlantic. A better place
for the power button would be in the posterior side of
the deck. Not long did the car go, before the engine
turned sideways and got clamped to a jaywalker's helmet.
Einstein once said that the most powerful power in nature
is "the power of compounding". Signal boosting ratio is
always proportionate to the average discontinuity of the
forward moving camel. They disappeared into the horizon
with hands wrapped around each other's shoulders.

Team Outing

Everybody was excited about the plan to go
on a team lunch and outing.
Two reasons:
1. Will get to know people better.
2. Will not have to spend a penny

The fact that the outing is on one fine Friday
makes it even better :-)

The day before the outing, there was a "serious" discussion
within the team. The topic : Activites during the outing.

Sush made a big mistake by inviting Anith and me
for the discussion. It was a virtual discussion using the
internal chat engine. What was going along as a nice n
serious discussion among Sush, Vi and Siva
turned out to be a 'roll on the floor' comedy show.
Suggestions like ice hockey and water polo came in.
Somebody suggested that we can go to the resort
all the way walking. At least, we wont get stuck in the HR traffic!
I could hear Sush's giggles the moment I hit the
'Enter' button... Finally she took the smart decision to
wind up the discussion, since it was going in 5 different directions..

The venue is a Resort.
Named Ramee Guestline.
Its about 15km from EC, along the HR.
The plan was to start from our office (K2) in van,
go to EC, pick up the CAD team from there and
to proceed to the resort. Thanks to Satish, the
transportation, resort booking and umpteen other
things were done in smart and trouble-free manner.

The van came at K2 at 11.30AM.
Anith and me went to check the van. Checking
essentially means, whether there are 4 tyres, whether
there are any seats inside etc... Found everything ok.

The team got into the van at sharp 12PM.
The onward journey was all fun..
Anthakshari ruled the van.
Sheel had good collection of old Hindi songs.
Vi was equally good. Sush had numbers like
Ramaiyya Vasta Vayya.. Siva chipped in with some
numbers now and then. Venkat played the role of the
referee, making sure the fights dont go into manhandling
(or womanhandling)
:-S

HR was rather less crowded. So we reached EC by 12.35.
CAD team stepped in. A round of introduction, and off
we started to the resort.

In the resort at 1PM.
No time wasting.. Straight to the lunch table :-)
Some minor re-alignment of tables and voila! it became
the perfect round table for the lunch..
(Well, it wasnt really round ok?!!)

Had a round of introduction at the table too..
Sandeep Kumar and Anand Mathew were not present in
the van for the first round of introduction...
Then to food.. We spent more than an hour on this
'activity'

Post lunch was activity time.
Cricket, football, volleyball and what not!
Everybody seemed to be an expert in every game.

The game session under the hot sun was tiring..
Under the shades, during the resting time, jokes were
exchanged.. Roll-on-the floor was repeated again..
:-)

Tea time.. 4 to 4.30.
More discussions..
A peep into the pool..

And we decided to pack up.
Anith observed that if we start at 5, we may possibly
and optimistically reach K2 at 7, considering the traffic
on HR at that time. Everybody nodded.

Back to van.
Back to Anthakshari.
More songs.. More fun..

The CAD team bid adiue at EC.
Back to ground Zero at 5.35PM. Much early than expected!

A wonderful trip.. and a wonderful team!
Proud to be part of this fun loving , enthusiastic team.

Tail
1. How to reach the resort ?
The resort is about 30km from EC towards Hosur
For information about the resort, here is the Phone Number

OPT : Malamaal Weekly

One movie per week has become a habit, a routine.
Its as if you dont get a good night's sleep if u
dont shred that 100 rupee note at PVR. Not just
me, every one - Sand, Geo, Kir - seems to enjoy
doing this..

And thats the reason we dont care a damn thing
about film reviews. Even if it doesnt have a ****ing
star rating, we dont bother.. The lesser the number
of stars, the better :-)

March 22 was opted by the OPT team for Malamaal Weekly.
Priyadarshan film.
He is known for his 'inspired' films..
'Inspired' means copied :-)
If Garam Masala was a big hit, Kyunki failed to impress.
Both were remakes of malayalam films (Boeing Boeing ,
Thalavattam)

The reports about Malamaal were not good.. But who cares?
:-)
The chief guest for this time's OPT was Alex.
He observed that "this is my first movie after coming
to Bangalore". Amazing! 2 years, no movies!!

Forum never looked so under-crowded..
So many vacant parking lots, not many ppl inside..
Wonder why..

After dinner from Kairali, came back to forum.
Bought 2 slice bottles, 3 softies, while waited for
the clock to tick from 9 to 10PM.

Kir joined in the last minute
Alex asked to the geniuses around him "What is PVR?"
Kiron - R is Road Show
Rat - PV is Purple Vision
Alex dint want to remain silent..
No.. PVR is PV Narasimha Rao
Sand - Where is N ?
Geo - N is silet
(Keep wondering what 'silet' is)
;-)

We got in..
I was carrying a bag (dress). And the mischief in us
made sure we did not remain thirsty inside the theatre.
We stole in, a slice bottle ;-)

Alex nicely stretched out his legs and rested 'em
nicely on to, what HE thought was a foot-rest.
A stare from the girl who was seated on that chair,
and scolding from me was needed for Alex to retrieve
his foot from her arm-rest :-S
(Thank God, her BF was busy on phone.. Varnaa... !! )

The movie started with narration about a village.
Voice of Nasirudeen Shah!
Now you know, why the titles read "Thanks : Nasirudden Shah"

The movie.. Well, comic alright, but all seen comedies
for us mallus.. But the rest of the seated personalities
were seen laughing most of the time. Songs yuck..
There was an item number by Rakhi Sawant.
She looked as if she was starving for 17 days..

Reema Sen was the only pleasant thing in the movie to
watch. Her screen presence is a bit less, though.

The climax was typical Priyadarshan style..
All the characters will be seen running (as if it is the
trans-atlantic marathon) amidst a lot of confusion..
A happy(?) ending , in the end..

A cameo role by Innocent (Mal comedy actor)
Well, the whole film is centred around this character.

After the movie, dropped Alex, and ZZZzzz at Autobahn.

Holi-day

When you write about Holi, you tend to go about
saying the same things you might have seen and
heard a hundred and seventeen times..
So no usual dicoles.. Only typical ones (by me)
:-)

Well, when was Holi ? is the big question.
KK had a Holi-day on Tuesday.
Geo had a Holi-day on Wednesday (y'day).
The unlucky ME had no such holiday :(

But we had holi celebrations in our office y'day.
I skilfully hid myself behind my PC, going
unnoticed by my 'colorful' friends - They had
handful and faceful of colors..

The good thing was that colors were nor permitted
inside the work area.. Thank God..
5PM. The program officially got kickstarted in the
badminton court.. 15 mins into the 'program' and
I got a call from M. I knew the intentions... She
is all-colored, and wants to see me colored as well.
I preferred to remain seated..

6PM. And I had a sigh of relief.. Its over, and
I still have a clean face :)
Saw M and A at 1st floor.. M colored beyond facial
recognition.. She held up her ID card.. Its Meeee...

But then.. at the gate..
Voila! All those 'colorful' friends of mine!
An attempt to test their running skills dint succeed.
I gave in.. Stood there helpless, both arms stretched
out (as if it was a wide delivery)
Colors - yellow, green, red - all over my face..
Exchange of Happy Holi..
But then I got a sweet peda :-)
So I forgave them and took part in the fun..

M went back to wash her face.
A got just light shades of yellow...
I preferred to be at my colorful self..

Scared a silent bhaabhi back home, when she opened
the door :D

The First Active Holi in my Life!

BTW, this is post num 101!
Number 100 went unnoticed...
Here I am.. with the keyboard raised.. in a thankful
gesture to the applauding audience :D

Tailpieces
1. Traffic was less on Hosur Road y'day. Why Why Why?
Coz it was a holiday for infy!
2. A holi greeting sms which i got early in the morning (at 8.15AM)
" Happy holi 2 u n fmly,Celebrate Peacefully with crackers &
diyas & get drunk just like I m rite now!Merry christmas once
again.Take care
happy b'day! "

The News

News!
Lot of 'em !!

Some good some bad..

Good ones first
1. Two of my travelogues, found its way into the organisation
dash board. And whats even more exciting is that.. Both of 'em
went straight into the spotlight!
2. Gasper is back in Mysore.
This will bring more joy to Autobahn inmates than to anyone else.
These souls were put to torture by the Great Man with his age-old PJ's
3. One of my blog write-ups (RDB n Inquilab Zindabad) will soon find
its place in the Graffiti board in the organisation. That is a
great achievement, I should say :-)
4. My team mate is pregnant (no goals pls..)
And she is gone on leave.. And a new gal replaces her :">

Some bad ones:
1. One of our group-mates in the orgn had a hear attack.
A 27 yr old gal!! Definitely shocking... she used to sit
right beside me. Thank God, she is recovering and is back
home, discharged from hospital
2. My mp3 player is not working :((
Have to trouble shoot..
After all, thats what h/w engrs should be upto!
3. Its a holiday for Geo :(
And just a 'holi' day for us :((

Sand n Sho's Treat

The plan was to meet at Autobahn at 11.30AM
We, being a bunch of punctual and on-time techies
finally met at the treat venue at 1.45PM.

Well, 'we' can very well be replaced by 'i' :-S
I couldnt make it in time. And Alex, Jins, Sho
were dependent on me to reach the venue..
(Not that I would carry them in my ferrari.. They
donno the route)
:-)

So finally when we reached at Tharavaadu, the newly
opened Authentic Kerala Food HOtel near Hosur Road
in Bommanahalli, Geo was all fired up, and uttering
Sanskrit Slogans at me, non-stop.
Having battled that out, found the next interesting
'feature' seated quietly on the corner seat of the
table - Gasper!
When Geo mailed the previous day "Tsunami to hit
Bangalore. Travelling northbound, from Mysore to
Bangalore", I never thought it would be this BIG.
Tsunami was better !

While exchanging Hi, Hello; Kiron pointed out another
fact. They had booked two tables on either sides, so
that we could "peacefully" have the lunch together.
But since our arrival got delated by a few minutes
(about 65 minutes), they had to let the table go..
Got a dosage for that also..

Sand asked "Did you get a message that i sent?"
I checked the inbox..
Sand's msg "Its another OPT. Not much of items here"

Thanks to Bird flu, the treats off-late have rather
been dull (only at the food-front). From the decibel
point of view, the treats seem to score more points
day after day :-)

We (Sho,Alex,Rat,Jins) got a table in the same row,
though not adjacent - there was another table in between.
(But that got vacated VERY soon. No points for guessing
the right reason) :D

Ordering dishes was never so easy..
One item each of every special dish.
And who cares to look at the RHS of the menu?
Sho, in a shaken voice kept on telling "Order whatever
you want". Well, the birthday boy has no other option
;-)

The hotel witnessed a pin-drop silence when the food
came to our table. Yup, till then, it was a total mess.
All (unwanted) attention was drawn to our tables..
Our table was particularly loud, with Alex cracking
numbers one after the other.
He said, during one treat when he had Crab Roast, his
lips bulged out, and his face ended up like that of a
horse.
And another news from Alex is that he is planning to buy
a new phone (That would be his 5th mobile phone in a span
of 1.5 odd years). Well, this news might have brought some
smile to thieves' faces :D

Even while food was being consumed, noise level did not
go down by a great margin. We were doing more of talking
than eating. (At the end of the performance, when we got
up to leave, the waiter escorted us to the door.. He said
"How was the food? Hope you enjoyed it.. Or.. Did you get
any time to care for the food at all?)
That statement briefs in one line, our impact and "influence"
on the ppl at the hotel.

Bill payment time.
Sho "Will u accept card?"
W8r "No sir"
Sho "Food coupons?"
W8r "Not yet sir.."

Rat (to W8r) "Please escort him to the kitchen. We shall leave
him here on loan basis"

But luckily, there was just the right number of note of 100
denomination to pay the bill. And Sho was spare of the kitchen
duty.

Post lunch, we left for Autobahn.
The agenda was clear "Urakkam"

As Geo puts it "Weekends are for urakkam"
Three beds and 8 ppl. Not at all a problem.

Let me make it a point that the noise level is still all-time
high. Thats when alex noted the vibrating sound of a mobile.
He notified the immediate neighbour, and went on to do his
task (sleep). After a rigourous search, nothing was found..
Then Alex Jumped up, reached for his bag.. Aila! there it is!
It was his (JY) phone that ws making noise..

Soon, Alex and Sho left.. Alex had some JY work.
Geo got a phone call. He quickly sprang out of his bed,
bathed(!!!), put on perfume, dressed up neat and left.
--A busy workaholic bachelor, who "sleeps" on weekends--

Sand was also seen leaving on his bike.
Jins and I too left by 6.30, leaving Kiron and Gasper at home.

Note : It was a combined treat. Sho's bday, Sand's new job
Note2: Gasper had come all the way from Mysore, just to attend
the treat
3: KK was not well. Was "sleeping" at home.
4: Dennis had work at office and couldnt turn up
5: Sand had brought cam, but the smart man did not charge the cell
6: Sand left for home at 9PM. Be back in a week
7: Autobahn is where Geo,Kir,Sand stay :-)

Treat Date : March 11, 2006
Venue : Tharavaadu
Atttendees : Sand,Sho,Gas,Kir,Geo,Rat,Alex,Jins

Women's Day : A Flash back

Its women's Day today (March 8)
And the write-up should have got something to do with a
female character..

Hence I decided to re-wind to year 1998. I must be 16 yrs old
Having passed the Grade 10 with flying colors, I was
offered free coaching classes for Engg Entrance Preparation.
Entrance Coaching is a craze those days..
(And its no different these days too..)

Travelling 21 kilometers (one-side) in the good NEW private
buses was fun. I would carefully select the right bus for my
45-min travel - A bus which has speakers on its roof...
If it has speakers, obviously, it would have a cassette player.
(CD was not IN.. its not yet year 2K, you see...)

More often than not, I would be left disappointed by the driver.
He wont switch on music at all..

The first year at the coaching center went on fine..
I was at the book-worm best..
Rarely talked to any one other than N.
I talked to N, only coz he (yes ,its HE) would force me into
a conversation..

And it was N who said - "Do you know H ? "
I said "There is no H in our class"
N "Oh Yeah?!! And I thought you dint know any gal's name in our class"
I smiled..

He continued "H is a nice girl.. She told me Ratheesh is so nice.
He is very studious but never shows any kind of head weight. Very
helpful person"
I gave him a stare. He is an expert in making up stories..

A confrontation with H revealed the truth..
She DID say so..
I remember the day when we talked for the first (and last) time.

It was at the corridor.
High up - 3rd floor..
She was standing near the staff room..
Alone..
I approached her (accompanied by that idiot N)

She had her hand bag in her hands..
So the smart(?) way of starting the conversation "Going somewhere?"
H flashed her million dollar smile..
With the head slightly tilted to the right, she said "Yes. Going home"
I looked at the wrist watch in an animated fashion and asked "Now?"
Its just lunch time. And half day's classes still remain..
She said "I have to reach home early. I have to start now"

In the following 5 min discussion, it turned out that she comes from very
far - 2 hours journey in bus.. We bid her adiue..

That was the last time I saw her.
My curious eyes looked for her smiling face in the adjacent class..
But never found her..

N never put across this topic into our discussion.
I found that VERY strange and unusual of him..

And faithful to my shy self, I never made an attempt to ask anyone about
her where-abouts...

Speed of (lime)light

How fast is life ?
Very Fast..
Very is misleading..
Rhyme it with 'speed of light' and u wont be off target by much..

How long does a high profile news stay in the limelight ?
Not more than a week - howsoever big it is..

Take egg-samples:
1. An almost clean sweep of the Ind-Pak ODI series by India
2. Bird-flu hits India
3. Jesica Lall Case (now is it Jessica Lal or Jessica Lall?)
4. Budget of India
5. Bush Visit to India
6. John Howard's visit to India (somebody tell me who is that!!)
7. Sensex crosses 10K ( Oh.. is it sooo costly?!! )

The news channels are in a wild rush to update you with the
LATEST news.. And every news they show you is a
'BREAKING NEWS'. Wonder what they r breaking..

One thing is sure for sure :-S
V R in a FAST world

Tailpiece: On the Budget day at 8PM IST, I msged M saying
'ice creams, pepsi n cola are cheaper post-budget'
Dhud came the reply 'Budget is tomorrow, idiot'

Did somebody say Ignorance is Bliss ?

Old man Wins Oscar!

Talent and hardwork never goes un-recognised.
And its no different in the case of Old man.
Old man has been awarded with lifetime achievement
award for his contributions to the film fraternity
and the hotel businesses with his in-comparable
series of publications titled TV Jokes.

The detailed report can be found here
Note: The report, name and the photo has been manipulated
to hide Z-category Classified information.

TV crew and news channels gathered at the old man's residence
to capture the rejoicing family on camera.
The birth of Oldman has only added to the joy.

U,S,A and Me

Finally, after endless weeks of trips n outings, here is one
weekend where I was very much in Bangalore..
(but still, not at home)
;-)

Half of Saturday was spent continuing the acitiviy which I
started off the previous day evening - sleeping.
Soon after I got up, rubbing my eyes, I found myself
home alone - Dad gone to office, bro n bhabhi out.
Mom n sis are already back in Kerala..

Inorder, not to starve at home, a quick treat was organised.
S offered a treat. Now since her cousin, Alex is also very much
in the same locality, called him too..
(It would be an interesting fact to note that Alex is my long
time friend, since our college years, and I got to meet S only
a couple of month's back.. So I should be referring to S as
Alex's cousin and not vice versa)
:-S

After struggling with the Bangalore traffic, saving the ears from a few
cursing words from co-road-users, maneouvring (read falling into)
the potholes in the road, giving cautious eyes to (n breaking) a few
red signals, reached forum at 2.45PM.
Scheduled time was 2.30PM. But then, you see, never be on time
for a treat, especially when there is a delegate from the female
species involved..

Spent some quality bucks at Transit in forum..

Got into almost all the counters, ordered something or the other,
and made sure, she never offers another treat in her life time..

And as if that wasnt enuf, post Transit, leaped into Fabmall for one
serving each of icecream. (Well, I have to learn the art of keeping
a smile pasted on the face, even when your last penny is being
handed over to the other side of the counter... I'll take classes from
S. She seems to be an expert in this)
:-)

Now the best part of the day is yet to come...
Thru and endless chain of communication over the mobile, (ppl
knowing 'Rat' will read it as SMS. This is one guy, who hammers
the keypad more than the Sultan of Brunei*) somebody had offered
to come along with me into the Scullers shop to get me the 'height
offer' which was ON that time.. Well, the height offer can be
explained in this fashion:
If you go into the shop with a gal who is x' y" tall, you get a discount
on purchase. And the discount amounts to 10x + y
Nothing explains better than an eskample - go with a 5' 7" tall gal,
and get a discount of 57%

So here comes U, ever bubbly n smiling (I know she ll read this one)
;-)
After a formality question sequel (How are you, how is work,
who are you :-S ), weheaded into Scullers.
I went straight to the counter, gathered courage, took a deep breath
and asked in my "fluent" Yingleesh "The height offer is there, right?"
Pop came the reply "No Sir. Its over"

Now, since the situation no more demanded any phirangi, the next
'verse' was in plain malayalam..
"Offer illenkil ente patti vaangum.. Vaa povaam"

U was very sorry for having lost the life-time opportunity to buy me
a pair of dress.. (Hope she doesnt read this!!)

Well, bid adieu to U n S. Alex n I headed to Autobahn. Sand greeted
us with sleepy eyes (Well our motto says "Weekends -> PIMCIF or
sleep" ). And Sand never breaks any rules. We joined him..
Zzz....

* - Pls excuse me, couldnt think of anything else. and I hav no
clue what that means :-S

The Return of The!

The great man Geo is expected to land in Bangalore
this weekend, probably on Saturday evening.
The company is eagerly awaiting his arrival, and a
delegate will be sent to the Airport to welcome him.

Meanwhile, sources have told this channel
that Geo was spotted running around birds, and
hanging out with birds. Hence indicative reports
reveal that the company suspects a possibility that
the firefighter (as he calls himself) may be inflicted
with flu.

As a precautionary measure, the star (this too, he calls
himself) will be forced into a big black box upon arrival
and quarantined for 7 days. If anything remains after
that, MUA will be re-incarnated and put on full throttle

On a dark and foggy night...

On a dark and foggy night, a small figure lay huddled on the railway tracks leading to the Bangalore station.
I cursed the Traffic Police who diverted my Ferrari from the normal course,
to take this haunted railway level cross route.

Being a typical Bangalore immigrant, I decided not to stop and invite trouble.
My heart wanted to go on..

But then my mind went back in a flash back..

3 hours before...
She told me "Are you taking me out for shopping or not?"
I said "haha.. you must be kidding"
But you promised

No.. I never promised.. And why should I take you out for shopping?

Hmmm :(

As I looked into her wet eyes, my mind went back to 2 days back..
I was on my way back to office, when her friend stopped me asking for a drop.
Being a non-typical Bangalore immigrant, I stopped..
Sshe (to differentiate Hher from her) was not as lean as her..
So riding was a bit difficult, and I am not the best of riders,
when it comes to carrying heavier mastperpieces as pillions..

My mind wandered in thoughts
"Should have taken my Porsche 2-seater today.. Agreed, the ground clearance
wont suit the bumpy half-a-km stretch near the house, but still.."

The screeching sound of brakes brought me to rreal-time..
The cab-driver stepped out and smashed me right on my head.
The helmet saved my head alright, from his fist, but it hurt my neck
all the same..

A slap from her brought me back to real-time.

The sound of train approaching brought me back in my red Ferrari..

To stop or not to stop was the big question..
At times, I do dis-obey my heart's call, and do the reverse.
I stopped the car, engine still running, rushed out to the site..

Nobody was around..
I slowly bent down..
Turned that figure to take a closer look..

I was shocked. A chill went down tru my spine..

(To be continued...)

No old man, Now , Know Oldman

The whole country mourns the shocking death of the old man.
A mourning was held on Last Sunday morning.
It was a huge turn out at the venue (The Enigma Pub).
Dignitaries such as the 4-tyre Ironing Inc. Head and the
3-tier A/C travellers delegate were present at the venue.

The President of US is here in India, to convey his condolences
to the family of the old man..

Here is some Flashback News

Amidst all this, there is a good news for the fans and
followers of the great old man.
Old man's son's wife gave birth to a baby boy, just two days
after the termination of the old man.
In loving memory of his father,
the old man's son named his son Oldman.

Oldman is a silent and reserved baby..
Doesnt annoy his parents by wetting bed, or by crying late night.

But the parents were anxious.. Why is their son so silent..
Why is he not crying ?

But putting a full stop to all their worries,
on his 2nd birthday, Oldman cried out loud!

That brought out a lot of cheer among the gathered near and dear.
They celebrated Oldman's 2nd birthday in style...
